About

About this plan

Open 3D walkaround

Born from decades of log building craftsman experience, the Sugarbush was originally designed by our customer as a versatile, open-concept hunting cabin. Built on an efficient 22' x 24' footprint for structural slab foundations, it utilizes 6" x 8" rough-sawn logs with draw-knifed chamfered corners—giving owner-builders the rich, organic texture of traditional milled timber without over-processing the wood.

Inside, 780 total square feet (528 sq. ft. main floor plus a 252 sq. ft. open loft) leaves complete flexibility for custom interior layouts. Outside, a massive timber-truss front porch with signature 4-foot extended roof overhangs provides up to 336 sq. ft. of covered outdoor space—making it an ideal choice for off-grid land, a weekend retreat, or an efficient vacation rental.
